Summer holidays activities for kids in The Lang Toun.

As it's now the school summer holidays, we thought we'd round up some of the great family-friendly activities that Kirkcaldy has to offer. From exploring picturesque parks to softplay, The Lang Toun offers a wide array of experiences that will make this summer great.

Enjoy the Great Outdoors at Kirkcaldy's Parks

We're so lucky to have two amazing parks near Kirkcaldy town centre, each offering a unique experience for families.

Beveridge Park dates back to 1892, and kids can enjoy the fantastic play area, featuring swings, slides, and climbing frames. Take a leisurely stroll around the tranquil lake or have a picnic on the grass. Don't forget to check out the woodland walks and wildlife.

At Ravenscraig Park, nestled along the coastline, kids will love exploring the sandy beach and woodland, playing in the play park, and seeing the ancient Ravenscraig Castle. Take a walk along the adjacent Pathhead Sands, or head down to Dysart Harbour for something to eat at the Harbour Masters Cafe. With lots of space for games and picnics, Ravenscraig Park is an ideal spot for a fun-filled day.
